2023 refresh coming to Case IH Early Riser planters

Case IH has announced further upgrades to the 2000 series Early Riser planters, including the 2150S announced earlier this year.

Among these new updates are a further increased liquid capacity, dealer-installed 48th row option, and software upgrades for the AFS Pro 1200 display.

“Introducing the 2150S Early Riser planter this year was a game-changer — but it was just the start of our renewed commitment to bolstering our entire lineup of 2000 series Early Riser planters,” says David Brennan, planter marketing manager for Case IH. “These new offerings are designed for producers who are always looking for more options and greater capacity during crucial planting windows.”

Early Riser Planter updates

The new 540-gallon liquid fertilizer tank capacity is available on the 2150 planter model for 2023, up from the 525-gallon capacity on the 2150 from this year. Case IH estimates this will increase run times of up to 180 acres between liquid product refills. Like previous models, the fill location is accessible from the rear platform.

The tank is placed toward the front of the planter for better weight distribution, and it has a low-profile design for rear visibility while in the field.

For owners or new adopters of the 47-row 2160 Early Riser front-fold planter, a 48th row is now available to install on the machine. This upgrade can be installed by Case IH dealers with a bolt-on bracket kit.

AFS Pro 1200 updates

Software updates for the AFS Pro 1200 display now allow owners to run all tractor and planter functions from a single display. The software has six customizable run screens, capable of displaying planter functions while performing other functions at the same time.

High-resolution mapping can be configured to display coverage, planter ride, spacing, ground contact, and skips.

The 2000 series Early Riser planters for model year 2023 are available to order now. For more information, visit CaseIH.com
