Case IH announces AFS AccuSync, updates to AFS Connect

Case IH has announced Advanced Farming Systems (AFS) AccuSync and productivity-based updates to the AFS Connect suite.

“As harvest approaches, we're excited to release tools to help producers make faster, smarter decisions while they are facing challenging weather and economic conditions,” says Kendal Quandahl, AFS marketing manager. “AFS AccuSync is a game changer for farmers who’ve long desired a way to intuitively manage and link their equipment, and feature updates for AFS Connect give operators more ways to use data for better in-field outcomes.”

The new AFS AccuSync

Through the AFS Connect platform and AFS Pro 700 or Pro 1200 display, AFS AccuSync users will be able to share real-time data between machines in the field. With a subscription to AFS AccuSync, farmers can connect multiple machines in a field using 4G telematics hardware, sharing coverage maps and A/B guidance lines.

“At its core, AFS AccuSync allows for easy sharing of in-field data,” says Quandahl. “When machines are operating on the same job, producers can monitor fleet progress and performance and uncover opportunities to operate even more efficiently.”

AFS AccuSync also enables section control based on operation coverage at the field level. The system is designed to prevent overseeding, and gathers data on tillage, planting, seeding, nutrient application, spraying, and harvest. AccuSync works to ensure parallel passes by all equipment, preventing operators from accidentally making skips and control overlaps, and to provide accurate yield maps where less-than-full swath is used.

Updates to AFS Connect

In addition to the launch of AFS AccuSync, AFS Connect is also receiving some updates.

Farmers now can generate a daily summary of fleet-centric parameters for review, with additional dropdown menus for deeper reporting on specific field information. These insights deliver actionable results like idle time and fuel use through a simple dashboard. New reporting options are available under the Report Builder tab. These reports are exportable via .CSV file type for use in third-party platforms that analyze fleet metric data.

Previously located under the Fleet tab in AFS Connect, CAN parameters are now found in the Farm section, allowing users to create custom thresholds, and set specific trigger events for machine parameters. The CAN parameter feature is also available in the mobile app to view machine or controller alerts in real-time.

With new archived equipment benchmarking, users can hide or show equipment no longer in possession, cleaning up the interface and making for easier access to equipment still in use.
